Offered for sale is this extremely clean, all-original and well-documented 1980 Triumph TR7 Convertible finished in Vermillion Red over Tan cloth interior with a black top. This low-mileage example has been very well preserved and was sourced out of a private museum and collection in the Midwest. Just 18,5xx original miles! Sold new by Misle Imports in Lincoln Nebraska. Comprehensive records have been kept neatly and meticulously including all original books and manuals, as well as original window sticker, sales documents, service records, promotional materials and other related items.

EXTERIOR: - The bold Vermillion Red paintwork is in very good condition overall and is believed to be all original. The top, likewise, is believed to be all original and presents nearly as new (having been stowed while on display in the collection where it resided). Plastic windows in the top have been replaced this year to repair age related clouding. Chrome bright work on the wheels, windshield trim and luggage rack is in excellent shape with high shine. Minor imperfections in the paintwork have been noted in the gallery with additional images available upon request.


INTERIOR: - The interior of this TR7 is in stunning shape overall. The black dash is clean with no cracks; controls are bright with no fading. Tan cloth seats are in like-new condition, as is the brown carpeting which lines the floor. Images of the floorpans are included in the gallery. Door panels are similarly in excellent shape. All gauges and interior functions are working as they should.


DRIVETRAIN: - The 2.0L Inline 4-cylinder is rated to 105hp and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine fires up nicely, even in cold weather, and runs extremely smoothly. The 5-Speed manual transmission shifts smoothly through the range with easy gear changes and no noticeable clutch wear.
