Offered for sale is this all original 2001 Honda S2000 convertible finished in Berlina Black over Red Leather (one of the rarest color combos, only ~301 produced in 2001). Channeling Honda’s long history of success on the race track, the AP1 S2000 is the epitome of the enthusiast car; sporty, direct, analog, and fun to drive.

All original paint, all VIN tags in place, never modified (except JDM emblems) and no accidents. Clean Carfax, good service history and recent maintenance performed.

EXTERIOR: 8/10 – The all original Berlina Black paintwork is in great shape overall. This S2000 has never had any paintwork and sports all of its original VIN tags! HID Headlights and taillights are clean and clear with no signs of fading. The original 5-spoke wheels complement the classic sports car styling. The black fabric soft top was replaced at 60k-miles with a Honda OEM part (which included an upgrade to a glass rear window). Imperfections in the original 2001 paintwork are limited to: one small scratch on the passenger rear quarter, one small scratch on rear bumper, light scuffing on the underside of the front bumper, and a handful of rock chips on the leading edge of the hood.


INTERIOR: 9.5/10 - The rare red leather interior is in excellent shape and is accented by a black dash and door panels. A leather-wrapped steering wheel, aluminum pedals, and aluminum shift add to the tactile driving experience. The seats are extremely comfortable with great bolstering for spirited driving. The interior features the iconic S2000 Digital Dash, engine start button, a hide away in-dash radio, keyless entry, and a couple of small cubbies for small items. Light mileage-related wear is limited to the driver’s seat bolster.


DRIVETRAIN: 10/10 - This S2000 features a high-revving (9k redline!) F20C – the 2.0L VTEC I-4 produces 240hp and gets the small convertible to 60 mph in just 5.2 seconds. The six-speed manual transmission is a joy to operate and shifts extremely well with effective gearing for spirited driving. The steering feel is very direct and braking performance is solid and reliable.
