Offered for sale is this 1997 Land Rover Defender 110 Pickup 300TDi finished in Land Rover Coliston Green over Black Vinyl Interior. This Defender 110 is presented for sale for the first time following a thorough refurbishment completed in late 2023. This example was built in Solihull (UK), a left-hand-drive European vehicle that was acquired in Spain in 2022. It was repainted and refurbished in Spain, then imported into the US in mid-2023. It was subsequently finished and inspected by a professional Land Rover shop in Virginia at the end of 2023.


This Defender Pickup is powered by a 2.5L Turbo Diesel Inline 4-Cylinder (300TDi) mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and 2-speed transfer case. The six-digit odometer shows 199,284km or 123,829 miles. The sale includes: a clean Maryland title, parts invoices, import documentation, and service records.


This highly-original Defender presents in excellent rust-free condition. An extensive refurbishment was completed from 2022-2023 using Land Rover or branded parts.


On the exterior, the vehicle was repainted in its original Land Rover Green. The underside was degreased and refinished in rust-resistant underside paint. All 5 original Land Rover wheels were stripped and repainted in off-white enamel and were fitted with new Venom Power Terra Hunter (265X70r16) tires. All around LED lights were installed. The truck bed was refinished in wood with aluminum bracing. The interior was refreshed with new carpets and Edgemoor seat covers and cushions, a new cubby box, and upgraded aluminum/stainless steel knobs and handles. All door seals were replaced. The headliner was refinished in black synthetic suede, and a new wood and stainless-steel steering wheel was installed.


Mechanically - the transfer case, tie rod / ends, and power steering pump were replaced as were the brake pads, brake discs, suspension springs, and drive-shaft U-Joints in all four corners. The radiator was refurbished. The 300 Tdi engine is remarkably clean, starts immediately, and runs smoothly throughout its range.


Well over $10k in recent work/receipts included with the sale. In addition to the work noted above – the truck was treated to an additional $5k+ in work by a Land Rover specialist to prepare it for sale. All belts, fluids (engine, transmission, differentials, brake, and cooling) and filters (oil, air, fuel) were change and the vehicle completely inspected to ensure it is ready to enjoy.
