Offered for sale is this 1956 Ford F100 Custom Pickup finished in Burgundy over Grey. A restoration was done on the truck in approx. 2003 and remained with its previous owner until recently. This hot-rodded F100 has been fitted with a number of performance modifications and custom touches which set it apart from the crowd.

EXTERIOR: The exterior has been resprayed in a single stage Burgundy which presents well overall with a nice shine. The front end has been replaced with a drag-style fiberglass clam shell which retains the factory chrome grill; it is easy to open and secures with racing panel straps. The windshield, windows, and headlights are clear and free of pits and cracks, rubber seals are in good shape, and chrome is in good solid shape overall. A handful of imperfections in the paintwork are noted in the gallery.



In the wood-floored bed, a JAZ racing fuel cell replaces the in-cab OEM fuel tank and is joined by a relocated battery box which adds to the race truck look. Flareside rear fenders have been modified inside the bed to fit extra-wide Weld Drag wheels and Mickey Thompson drag radials (33x19.50 - 15LT).



INTERIOR: Inside the truck, a paint-matched dash houses a custom gauge cluster with Autometer gauges. Grey carpeting is brand new and flows nicely with the grey bench seat and updated headliner. Interior door handles have cracked. A drag-racing style Hurst shifter is equipped with gear lockout. Wiring has been updated/simplified with a Wire Works fuse panel.



DRIVETRAIN/UNDERCARRIAGE: The original engine has been replaced with nice running Ford 460. The mildly modified engine runs nicely and sounds excellent. Equipped with a number of performance modifications including an Offenhauser Intake Manifold, Holley Carb, Accel Ignition Coil and Wires, and Holley Valve Covers for dress-up. The automatic transmission is equipped with a Hurst shifter with shift lock-out. In good running and driving condition with recent carb cleaning and new battery.



Underneath, the rust-fee frame, front suspension arms, the Ford 9" rear end have been painted black and present very well. Features updated Gabriel shocks in the rear, as well as a disc brake conversion for added stopping power. A side-exit exhaust looks the part and sounds great.
