Offered for sale is this limited-production 2006 HUMMER H1 Alpha Wagon finished in Black over Black Leather. Just two owners from new – the original owner was a Texas-based collector who sold the truck with 4,945 miles. The second owner acquired the H1 in 2009 via SEWELL SAAB HUMMER in Plano, Texas. The vehicle was used for daily transport for a couple of years before the Alpha’s began to see value as a true collectible, at which time the vehicle was stored in a private, secured facility along with other cars from the family collection from 2009-2019 and mileage was limited. Currently sitting at just 38,200 miles – this Alpha has been lavished with regular and cost-no-object servicing and upgrades over the last decade. The sale includes detailed service records and original books/manuals.




The second long-term owner has taken great care to maintain and also improve the H1 with a variety of technology upgrades that make this vehicle unique. However and perhaps most important, this H1 ALPHA remains in its original, stock condition mechanically and also aesthetically. No changes to the interior, including the original black interior seating and original black/grey dash accents. This H1 Alpha needs absolutely nothing.




Over the past 2 years, the H1 has undergone a frame-on restoration, including $25k+ worth of work in the last 2 years covering all vehicle areas. The engine, transmission and all suspension parts have been serviced and when needed, replaced with new old stock parts and brought back to like-new condition. Similarly, the under frame was cleaned and painted to a like-new perfect condition in factory black paint. 60+ pages of service records and receipts are available from 2009 onward (please email for PDF copies).




Modifications to the vehicles AV System and lighting capabilities make this the ultimate off-road and tailgating machine! High-end, professionally installed upgrades include: KVK Tracvision A9 In-Motion Automatic Satellite TV Antenna, Multiple TV Monitors (2 monitors in front, 2 monitors in each rear set headrest and a rear hatch-mounted 52” Sony Flat-Panel TV), Headunit with Navigation/Bluetooth/Back up Camera, Focal Speakers all around, custom Subwoofers and enclosures. Also upgraded are a CB Radio, PA System and Train Horn. Upgraded lighting includes: interior LEDs, RIGID - 50” (50 x 2) LED Lightbar (Front), RIGID – 20” (20 x 2) LED Lightbar (Front Bumper), RIGID – 50” (50 x 2) LED Lightbar (Rear). This Alpha is the “King” of the Tailgate Party!




The H1 Alpha was introduced as a one-year only model with a slew of major changes which set it apart from the rest of the AM General HUMMERS produced from 1992-2006. The H1 Alpha received 6.6L DURAMAX TurboDiesel V8 mated to a robust Allison Transmission. This Alpha-specific drivetrain directly addressed customer concerns about lack of adequate power in prior Hummer models; in order to fit the engine, over 20 component changes were made to the original design (sourced from GM’s range of pickups). GM upgraded a number of other chassis/driveline parts including: special high-strength steel in the frame, a more powerful steering gear, redesigned differentials and hubs, etc. Only ~725 H1 Alphas were built (2006MY only) as a final send-off to the HUMMER; making this a truly collectible machine.
