Offered for sale is this beautiful 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi finished in Crystal Grey Metallic over classic Blue/Black STi interior. This STi was acquired from its most recent long-term Virginia-based owner. The sale includes records, books/manuals, and two keys.
Why we love it? Rare to find an excellent condition GD STi with great mileage like this which is still equipped with its original factory motor and transmission -- this STi runs and drives as it should, a ton of fun, and has always been well-maintained.
The Crystal Grey Metallic paint is in excellent condition overall with excellent shine and no swirl. We believe the front bumper to have been resprayed under prior ownership and the paint match/quality is far above average. This STi retains it’s proper factory forged BBS wheels, freshly restored in original silver, and wrapped in Falken tires with 2017 date codes.
Service in the last 10k miles includes: replacing the timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, and radiator hoses, as well as regular synthetic oil changes done by the prior owner.
The interior of this STi is in great shape overall with no real notable wear. The black and blue Alcantara and fabric seats are well-bolstered and are finished with stitched STi logos. The dash is clean with no cracking or fading. A factory CD changer remains in the dash. The odometer shows 80k original miles.
The 300-hp Flat 4 Cylinder EJ257 launches the STi to 60mph in just 4.6 seconds and revs very smoothly though the range. The 6-speed transmission with Driver Controlled Center Differential shifts smoothly with no grinding. Clutch feel is very good with no signs of wear. No modifications ever installed from new – a true survivior!
