Offered for sale is this striking 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Triple Black. This 67k-mile Carrera - in highly original condition - performs and presents very well overall. Original matching VIN tags remain on all panels (pictured on our blog – link below). This 911 is sold with its original books and manuals (including service stamps), full suite of keys, took kit, spare tire, and original window sticker.

Believed to be a two-owner car – the 911’s history shows consistent ownership in Delaware from new (via Carfax). Recently traded in by its previous long-term owner who lovingly kept the car since 2004. A clean Carfax report is included in the album on our blog (link above). Runs and drives wonderfully.


The 3.2L engine sings through the revs and comes to life quickly and easily with no smoking or leaks. Visually, the engine and transmission are clean with no signs of seepage, leaks or signs of oil staining on the cases or from the heads. Clutch feel is excellent and shifting through the desirable G50 5-Speed Manual Transmission is smooth and satisfying. Brakes stop the convertible impressively with zero drama. Tires are new Toyo Proxes T1R.


The deep Black paintwork is a recent respray in the original color and is in great shape overall with only a handful of minor imperfections detailed in the gallery. This example features the optional power retractable convertible top is believed to have been replaced once in the cars lifetime. The top mechanism works well, fabric and stitching are in excellent shape overall, and the rear plastic window shows some clouding. The interior of this 911 is in very good condition overall with limited wear consistent with mileage. Power seats are in good shape with no major bolster wear. A new OEM gear knob has been fitted. No modifications from stock except a newer Alpine headunit (with Bluetooth and iPhone connection) and upgraded door speakers.
